Spoleto is preparing to reclaim its spot on the international stage with the 69th edition of the Festival dei Due Mondi, running from June 26 to July 12, 2026. Under the artistic direction of Daniele Cipriani, this year’s festival explores the theme of “Roots” (Radici), inviting audiences to rediscover the origins of art and the profound connection with the local territory.
For those choosing to stay in our farmhouses and country resorts, the Festival offers the perfect opportunity to combine the peace of the Spoleto countryside with the vibrancy of one of the world’s most prestigious cultural events.
Program Highlights for 2026
The 69th edition promises a diverse lineup ranging from opera and dance to major concerts in Piazza Duomo. Here are some of the must-see events:

-
World-Class Dance: The return of the historic International Dance Marathon (July 4–5) at the Roman Theater, featuring international stars like Daniil Simkin and the Rambert dance company.
-
Grand Concerts in Piazza Duomo: On July 3, the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin and featuring world-renowned pianist Yuja Wang, will take the stage. The grand finale on July 12 will be led by Gianandrea Noseda with the Filarmonica del Teatro Regio di Torino.

Post-Show Relaxation: After the energy of the city performances, you can retreat to the tranquility of our olive groves.
-
Local Flavors: Many events take place in the afternoon or at midday (the famous Midday Concerts), leaving plenty of time for traditional dinners based on farm-to-table products.
